(Montreal, Canada – April 8, 2026) PMP Strategy is delighted to welcome Stéphane Bouzelmat to its Montreal office as Associate Partner, joining the firm’s growing practices across North America in Financial Services & Institutions, Industry, and Private Equity.
Stéphane brings over 20 years of international experience that sets him apart: a rare and powerful combination of hands-on industry leadership and high-level strategy consulting, built across four continents — Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. This dual expertise is at the heart of what he brings to PMP Strategy and its clients.
Stéphane spent the first decade of his career in industry, in operational and engineering roles that took him to the field. At Saipem (ENI Group), he was deployed as a Field Engineer across ten countries — including China, Nigeria, Vietnam, Egypt, Singapore, and Croatia — before taking on the role of Deputy Proposal Engineering Manager. He began his professional life at Saint-Gobain Glass in France, managing production operations in Compiègne and Douai. This grounding in real-world industrial and operational complexity gives Stéphane a rare ability to translate strategic ambition into concrete, executable outcomes.
He then built a distinguished consulting career spanning over a decade at leading global strategy practices, where he held progressively senior roles and led major engagements in strategy, financial performance, and transformation for large organisations across Canada and internationally. He was recognised early in his consulting career with a 2015 industry award.
This combination of deep industry experience and consulting excellence is precisely aligned with PMP Strategy’s DNA: a firm built on the conviction that the best advice is not only strategically sound, but pragmatic and actionable — accompanying clients from recommendations all the way through to implementation.
At PMP Strategy, Stéphane will bring this end-to-end approach to bear across three of the firm’s key practices in North America. He will contribute to expanding the Financial Services & Institutions practice in Canada, supporting corporate clients and financial institutions in their most critical strategic and transformational challenges. His first-hand experience leading large-scale industrial operations internationally makes him a natural fit to strengthen the firm’s Industry practice. And his track record of driving performance and value creation across complex organisations positions him equally well to support PMP Strategy’s Private Equity practice — where rigorous operational insight and strategic acumen are essential to delivering results for portfolio companies and investors alike.
Stéphane holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Decision Sciences from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (2011–2013), and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, 2000–2003).
