Our seminar in Chamonix!

By 13 décembre 2021décembre 6th, 2023News

We were in Chamonix for PMP’s annual seminar, which brought together 150 employees from our 5 offices (France, Belgium, Canada, Morocco and the UK).

After a particular year of confinement and telecommuting, it was important for us to reunite our teams and find the energy of this collective.

During this seminar, Luc Moreau, glaciologist and specialist in sub-glacial hydrology related to glacier sliding, honored us with a speech in front of the sea of ice to retrace the history of this glacier, the impact of global warming, its causes and its solutions, because building a desirable future for all together is also the PMP spirit.

A committed speech, carrying beautiful convictions to allow us to better understand the world of today and help us preserve the world of tomorrow.

Throughout our seminar in Chamonix, we were fortunate to be accompanied and inspired by Christophe Profit. An emblematic figure in mountaineering, he has, among other things, achieved the feat of climbing the three most famous North faces of the Alps in less than two days: The Eiger, the Matterhorn and the Grandes Jorasses.

With other mountaineering personalities (Daniel Dulac, Tony Sbalbi, François Pallandre, Simone Origone, Hubert Fievet, Alberto Boschiazzo, Jérôme Arpin, Eric Bellin, Giuseppe Villa, Laurent Collignon, Jacques Cuenot, Daniel Castillo, Yann Delevaux, Frank Goutard, Alessandro Munier, Frederico Arletti, James Kaller, Alain Levet, Mathieu Berlioz, Fredo Mathieu, Bertrand Oustry and Ricardo Mora) as inspiring presences, they allowed us to go beyond our limits, at an altitude of nearly 3,500 meters, during an intense walk on the Géant glacier, a glacier on the French side of the Mont-Blanc massif, the main provider of the sea of ice.

This put into perspective a value that is dear to us, « commitment ».
