PMP Strategy<\/a> served as the buy-side commercial advisor to the French government in the signing of the put option relating to the acquisition of a majority stake in ALCATEL SUBMARINE NETWORKS MARINE<\/a> (ASN) from Nokia<\/a> as recently announced.

The acquisition of this strategic company would further enhance France’s digital infrastructure independency. Alcatel Submarine Networks, a French company, is among the top three global leaders in the manufacturing and installation of submarine cables. Previously a subsidiary of Alcatel and later Alcatel-Lucent, ASN was acquired by the Finnish group Nokia in 2016. ASN\u2019s unique and proprietary technology enables it to deploy long-haul submarine optical communication systems worldwide.
