PMP Strategy announces the appointment of Laure Lemaignen, Lionel Chapelet and Jonathan Zelmanovitch as Partners

Laure Lemaignen, a graduate of ESSEC, joined PMP Strategy in 2020. She is in charge of developing the banking and financial services sector (payments, asset management, savings) in the Paris office. She previously spent 20 years in the banking sector at Société Générale, where she worked in the Equity Capital Markets teams, then in the Group’s strategy department and finally as Head of Strategy for the Corporate Banking and Investor Solutions division.

Lionel Chapelet, a graduate of ENS Cachan and HEC, joined PMP Strategy in 2012 as a consultant. Since then, he has worked in the Transportation & Mobility sector as a manager and then as an Associate Partner. He works on behalf of corporates and investment funds on issues such as the development of transport and logistics infrastructure, the decarbonization of transport and mobility, the opening of public and rail transport to competition, and the improvement of mobility service performance.

Jonathan Zelmanovitch, a graduate of HEC, the University of Paris I (Competition Law) and Columbia University joined PMP Strategy in 2021. He oversees both the M&A and Value Creation practice and the firm’s Software and Data Centers practice. PMP Strategy’s Private Equity offering leverages the multi-sector expertise accumulated over the past 20 years with large groups and SMEs in the TMT, Digital, Transportation & Energy and Financial Institutions/Healthcare sectors.  PMP conducts strategic audits/due diligence and value creation assignments for funds. Jonathan has more than 18 years of experience, mainly in M&A departments of large groups. Previously, he was VP M&A at Orange, then Group M&A Director for three following groups successively: Veon (7th largest telecom operator worldwide), Cegid (3rd largest SaaS publisher in France owned by Silver Lake, KKR, Alta One and Oakley Capital) and the Carrefour Group.

“With these three appointments and the opening of two new international offices this year, PMP Strategy is accelerating. These appointments are the result of the success of Laure, Lionel and Jonathan in developing high-impact practices for both executives and funds. This confirms our ambition and our unique positioning as “business partners” in: Financial Services where the industry is undergoing a major transformation, Transport, Mobility and Energy sector where decarbonization and the energy transition are key for all of us, and finally assisting investment funds with due diligence support (including ESG) and with Value Creation because all these challenges cannot be met without quality financing. Beyond their expertise, three personalities are joining our partnership. PMP Strategy is a collective entrepreneurial project, where quality and personal values are the foundation of our development said Gilles Vaqué, President and Managing Partner of PMP Strategy.
