PMP Strategy Strengthens Its London Office with the Appointment of Ben Bugg as Associate Partner

(London, UK), November 13th :  PMP Strategy is excited to announce that Ben Bugg has joined the firm as Associate Partner in its London office. Ben will be running the Private Equity business in London, supporting clients and their portfolio companies with deal advisory, growth strategy and transformation.

With more than 15 years of experience in investment and strategy consulting, Ben brings a unique perspective shaped by his time as both an investor and an advisor. He has a proven track record in deal origination, client development, and private equity advisory, helping investors evaluate opportunities and unlock value across the deal cycle.

Most recently, Ben led EMEA Financial Sponsors Coverage at Stax, where he supported the firm’s European expansion, building new private equity relationships, delivering double-digit revenue growth, and positioning Stax as a leading U.S. market expert in Europe.

Earlier in his career, Ben held investment management roles at Nomura Asset Management and HSBC Global Asset Management, providing him with first-hand experience of how investors assess opportunities, manage risk, and drive performance. This investor mindset allows him to understand the questions that matter most to deal teams — from conviction at entry to sustainable value creation post-investment.

At PMP Strategy, Ben will focus on accelerating the firm’s presence with UK private equity clients, delivering tailored advisory across transactions, growth, and transformation.

“I’ve joined PMP Strategy because of its truly expert-led approach — every senior leader here has hands-on experience in their sector, which makes our advice deeply practical and grounded in reality. I’m excited to bring PMPS’s extensive capabilities — from deal advisory and corporate growth strategy to our dedicated AI and data team at Lab32 — to my private equity and investment banking relationships exploring UK deal opportunities.
The team is incredibly impressive — entrepreneurial, collaborative, and driven by a shared ambition to raise expectations of what a consulting partner should deliver. I’m thrilled to be part of that journey.’’

Reef Read, Partner, PMP Strategy UK, says: ‘’We’re very excited to have Ben join our growing team in London.  Ben, who will head our UK&I PE coverage, brings with him a wealth of experience both as a prior investor and advisor to the industry. After successfully building our TMT and Digital Infrastructure coverage here in London, the next logical step for PMP Strategy was to expand our PE coverage and the logical choice to spearhead this effort was Ben.”
