PMP FORMALIZES THE PROMOTION OF BENOÎT GELOT TO THE ASSOCIATE DEGREE OF THE TELECOMS AND DIGITAL PRACTICE.

Benoît Gelot was appointed in December, partner of the Telecoms and Digital practice of the PMP office in Paris. Benoît Gelot will share responsibility for this division with Chrystelle Briantais and Frédéric Jover.

Graduated from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, ESCP (2006), Benoît Gelot began his career within the business transformation consulting firm Kurt Salmon (now Wavestone) as a consultant in Telecoms and Media, position he held until 2010. In 2010, he joined PMP as Senior Consultant in Telecoms and Digital, to be promoted one year later to manager. In 2015, he will be appointed associate director of the Telecoms and Digital practice, a position he will hold until his appointment as associate.

I am delighted to be able to count among our associates young talents like Benoît who contribute to the dynamism of the Firm,” says Gilles Vaqué, President of PMP. The ability to generate and trust young associates is 100% part of the PMP project and strengthens our ability to perpetually question ourselves and reinvent consulting”.

According to Benoît Gelot, the Telecoms and Digital sector is changing rapidly. “The incessant technological breakthroughs (Big Data, Very High Speed, 100% digital operators, etc.) and the desire to expand GAFA regularly reshuffle the cards of players in the Telecoms and Digital sector and open up new perspectives in terms of uses, services and markets, he says. These rapid developments require both constant innovation and heavy investment in infrastructure or technology, but also frequent review of existing business models”.

With ten years of experience in the Telecoms and Digital sector, Benoît works mainly with telecom operators to support them in defining their network strategy, framing and launching their diversification projects, customer marketing, etc. He works in particular on subjects requiring complex economic modeling (Business Planning, network deployments, wargaming, etc.)
