Commercial due diligence

PMP Strategy’s strategic commercial due diligence offer helps investment funds (from VCs to LBOs) make confident investment decisions by providing an independent, fact-based analysis of a target’s commercial and operational performance. This includes assessing the size of addressable markets and their trends, from the customer’s point of view, competitive dynamics, business plan and value-creation opportunities. Our intervention approach is designed to accelerate the investment decision-making process, maximize value and reduce risk for investors.

Vendor due diligence

We provide an independent perspective on the underlying growth drivers. We assess the company appropriately in its competitive environment, based on its relative strengths. We engage with market players to position the company’s value proposition for customers. Finally, we review management’s business plan, which we can develop and refine further if necessary.

Value Creation Plan

We combine development strategy with operational expertise to help portfolio companies improve their growth and performance:

  • What opportunities are there to improve the company’s sales performance (GtM, adjacencies, etc.)?
  • What are the opportunities for increasing margins (pricing, customer and channel segmentation, value-based pricing)?
  • What are the opportunities for optimizing supply chain performance and reducing operating costs?
  • How can we align the organization with profitability and market share objectives?
